Steve Skinner, M.D.
Dr. Skinner started Cullman Dermatology Clinic, P.C. in June, 1994. Dr. Skinner is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Mohs Surgery, a Fellow of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and a member of the Alabama Dermatology Society.

Dr. Skinner received his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He also completed his residency in dermatology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.

Dr. Skinner has particular interest in skin cancer and treats over 2,500 cancers annually. He has been performing Mohs surgeries since 1996, and has treated over 4,500 cases with a recurrence rate of less than 1%. He has also diagnosed and treated over 1,000 melanomas. Dr. Skinner participates in free skin cancer screenings and lectures on skin cancer and risk reduction at local schools, hospitals and civic events.
